Andrew Hara, P.Eng. Email: Andrew Hara is an Associate Mining Engineer with RPA. Mr. Hara has more than thirty years experience in the mining industry with a proven record for designing and building and operating successful mines. He has worked on numerous mining projects in different countries. His areas of expertise include mine evaluation and rationalization, due diligence, feasibility studies, budgeting and project management, mine design, safety, and technology.
Mr. Hara had a successful 15 years career with Noranda, rising to the position of Director of Mining, responsible for providing technical mining support to all the operations as well as the corporate due diligence team. Following his retirement from Noranda Inc. in 2001, Mr. Hara has carried out numerous consulting assignments on mining projects in many areas of the world.
Mr. Hara has a B.Sc. (Honours) in Engineering from the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy, Krakow (Cracow), Poland. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
