James L. Pearson, P.Eng. Email: Jim Pearson is an Associate Consulting Mining Engineer with RPA. Mr. Pearson has over thirty years of significant operating, development, consulting, and financial experience in the mining industry. He has held various senior level engineering and management positions in underground operations. His mine contracting experience spans the management of large-scale mining projects to include production and development, shaft sinking, and installation of surface infrastructure. Mr. Pearson has an excellent knowledge of project financing and the business aspects of project development. Mr. Pearson has been on assignment in both Russia and Uzbekistan where he was involved in the evaluation of a number of gold mining operations and projects.
Mr. Pearson has a B.Sc. (Honours) Degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University. He is a registered professional engineer in Ontario, a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) and Past Chairman of the Metal Mining Division of the CIM.
