John C. Boyce, P.Eng. Email: John Boyce is a Senior Systems Engineer with RPA. Prior to joining RPA, Mr. Boyce worked for Noranda Inc. for 25 years in various capacities in computer and information systems. For the past decade, he provided project and mine evaluation support to Noranda's evaluation engineers, exploration staff and operating mine staff. This work included orebody modelling, open pit design, geological database development and management, and engineering application systems analysis and design. Mr. Boyce has used Gemcom mining software extensively.
Mr. Boyce has a B.A.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. He has taken courses in geostatistics for ore reserve estimation and grade control, and in mine evaluation and scheduling.
