Bernard Salmon is a Consulting Geologist with RPA based in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec. Among the services he provides are mineral resource and mineral reserve work, geological advice to operating mines and advanced exploration projects, participation in feasibility and prefeasibility studies, and evaluation of exploration projects. Previously, he was Chief Geologist with Aur Resources Inc. at the Louvicourt Mine and prior to that he worked at several mining operations as Chief Geologist and Mine Geologist with Inmet Mining Corporation, Minnova Inc. and Falconbridge Copper Corporation.

Mr. Salmon has extensive experience in mining geology, mineral resource and mineral reserve estimation, and organization and management of a mine geology department. He has been involved in resource and reserve estimation of a variety of gold and base metal sulphide deposits for more than two decades. He has familiarity with both manual and digital estimation methods, and has extensive experience with block modelling using geostatistical techniques. As Chief Geologist at several mining operations, he has been involved in staff hiring and supervision, planning and supervision of departmental activities, planning and supervision of drilling programs, budgeting and cost control, layout of stopes and development, liaison with mine planning and operations departments, and annual estimation and reporting of mineral resources and reserves.

Mr. Salmon has a degree in Geological Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, Université de Montréal. He is registered as a professional engineer with the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec and has published a number of papers and given presentations on mineral deposits.
